Nick Schroeder

Nick Schroeder studied acting, directing, and mask work at Sarah Lawrence College’s theater program and has been a company member since 2014. His Mad Horse acting credits include The Normal Heart, Titus Andronicus, The Nether, Grey Gardens, Digby’s Home, The Last Days of Judas Iscariot, and One Flea Spare. Directing credits include Other Desert Cities and Life Sucks. He is also a founding member of the Portland theater collective Lorem Ipsum (Our Late Night, Ghosts, Love and Information, If We Were Birds, etc.) and has appeared in several other production companies in Portland and New York. Nick is a journalist with the Bangor Daily News and former editor of the Portland Phoenix. He was raised in Old Orchard Beach.
