Tootie Van Reenen
A member of Mad Horse Theatre Company since 2005, Tootie has performed in many productions, including: Kimberly Akimbo, The Last Days of Judas Escariot, The Bacchae, Drunks, Long Day’s Journey Into Night, The Clean House, The Dresser, Dead Man’s Cell Phone, and Bengal Tiger at the Bagdad Zoo. She has also performed with other theater companies in Southern Maine, including Good Theater and the Theater Project in Brunswick, and recently made her first foray into film. She worked with Brent Askari on the BY LOCAL play reading series which launched in 2013 and is currently serving on the Mad Horse Theatre Company Board of Directors. She resides in Portland with her husband, Company member Chris Horton. You might catch her knitting or crocheting backstage or serving you at the concessions booth.
